The famous black walnut tree on Pylypchuk Street in Khmelnytskyi was planted in 1888 and remains the only tree of its kind in the city. It is unique for its dark, almost black bark and fruit. No city tour goes without mentioning this exotic tree, unusual for Ukraine.
