A simple, at first glance, story about a failed pathologist.
Severyn is not appreciated at work and is paid little, something incomprehensible is happening in the man's personal life, his self-esteem is at zero. So, being practically at the bottom, he immediately grabs the opportunity to make extra money. Yes, the offer is not entirely legal, yes, you can hardly expect anything good from the organ transplant market, but it is so tempting to finally arrange a secure life for yourself.
After all, Severyn has to take some trinket from already dead people, something they don't need anyway. For now, dead people still have a trinket. Step by step, decision after decision, the pathologist changes, transforms - this is how self-confidence first sprouts in all of the despised man on the verge of alcoholism, and after it, unprincipledness. Having committed one crime, it is much easier for him to commit another, and then the next. What Severyn considered unacceptable yesterday is becoming the new norm. And in general, the question arises: is he able to stop now and how far can he go?
