The Upside of Irrationality - D.Ariely
In the book "The Upside of Irrationality" behavioral economist Dan Ariely shares the results of experiments and, traditionally, tells how irrational people really are. However, in contrast to "Predictably Irrational", the author advocates the idea that this irrational nature is what makes us beautifully human and adds color to life - for example, our ability to find meaning in work, fall in love with our creations and ideas, willingness to trust and ability to adapt. The book is also an excellent example of, firstly, the art of storytelling, and secondly, the author's ability to explain difficult and complex psychological concepts in simple words.
