God bless you, Mr. Rosewater - Kurt Vonnegut

The novel "God bless you, Mr. Rosewater" tells about the antics and whims of multimillionaire Eliot Rosewater, who leaves his luxurious home in New York and returns to his hometown in Indiana, where the prosperity of the Rosewater clan began and where their family foundation is still located. There, Eliot (with a little help from writer Kilgore Trout) prepares to conduct a noble experiment — handing out almost unlimited amounts of money to anyone who walks into his office.
This step gives impetus to a whole series of incredible and unusual events.
