Beauty is not an afterthought, not something to be taken lightly, striving for absolute practicality and a monotonous, rationalized environment. After all, when contemplating beauty, people experience positive emotions and change their behavior accordingly, and if designers are able to take this into account in their work, it turns out to be more effective in the end. Although the concept of beauty has been constantly changing throughout our history, it turns out that certain shapes, shades of colors and combinations of them still appeal to people much more often than others - even if those people live in different countries and represent very different cultures.
Based on the conducted research and surveys, as well as their own experience and preferences, the authors compiled a selection of various beautiful - buildings, furniture, books, clothes, tableware, drawn or computer-generated images and photos - a great moodboard for those who want to find out for yourself what beauty is.
